Spiritual Emphasis

Chapels

Chapels are an integral part of the programming at Grace Academy. Chapels take place weekly. Chapels are comprised of age relevant messages. Students in middle and high school have the opportunity to be part of the worship band for their respective age groups. The theme for the middle school and high school chapels for the 2009-2010 school year is S.A.L.T; Students Actively Living the Truth. Local youth pastors, staff members and students serve as the speakers for chapels.

Spiritual Emphasis Week

Each spring students participate in spiritual emphasis week. This is a time to intentionally focus on a theme for the student body. Students in grades 6-12 participate in daily chapels and Friday is a Day of Serving in the community. Guest Speakers are brought in from around the country to challenge students in their daily walk with Christ. Some speakers also serve as guest speakers in classes. Some spiritual emphasis weeks consists of parent training nights.

Christian Soldiers Club

Christian Soldiers Club (CSC) is a long standing tradition at Grace Academy. CSC is for students in grades K3-5 and is typically held in the school gymnasium the last Thursday of each month. Some CSC programs are held in the evenings around different holidays. CSC is comprised of each class memorizing a monthly poem and scripture passage. The goal of CSC is to train students in public speaking but more importantly in memorizing scripture.
